Established in 1998, CoreSys Consulting is a well-established CMMI appraised, ISO 9001:2008 certified small business whose core competency is the design, development, test, implementation, and enhancement of information technology systems.

CoreSys is a well-established and efficiently operated company that delivers high quality and technically relevant people at very competitive prices.  We are extremely agile and responsive making us an easy and rewarding partner to work with.  Our successes as a government contractor is attributable to our unique ability to identify key resources that will succeed and thrive in a government contracting environment and ultimately lead to successful project outcomes.

Brian HeadshotBrian Cordle, PMP – President and Chief Executive Officer    

Brian Cordle is the Founder, CEO, and President of CoreSys Consulting Services, LLC.  Established in 1998, CoreSys is a dynamic veteran owned small business whose core competencies are the design, development, test, implementation, and transformation of information technology systems. 

Brian and fellow CoreSys staff members are recognized experts in the field of Army Human Resource Systems, Enterprise Architecture, Solutions Architecture, Open Source Solutions, Application Transformation / Modernization, and Enterprise Application Integration.  

Through Brian’s leadership, CoreSys made the Inc. 500/5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies in America for four consecutive years.

Prior to founding CoreSys, Brian was a senior software engineer designing and developing enterprise applications for the US Army.  His background has a significant military and government presence, including a stint in the US Army.

Brian is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). 

 Doug Headshot Doug Chapman –  Vice President of Operations

Doug is a former U.S. Army Officer and combat veteran, serving as an Armor Company Commander during Operation Iraqi Freedom II.  His last duty station was with Army Human Resource Command, where he served as a Promotion Board Recorder in the DA Secretariat.  After departing the Army in 2007, Doug joined the George Group (later acquired by Accenture) where he received training on Lean Six Sigma and earned both his Black Belt and Master Black Belt certifications.  Doug has served clients such as the U.S. Army (Army Materiel Command, Army Sustainment Command, Installation Management Command, Forces Command, and most recently the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology), the United States Postal Service, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.  His role as a management consultant was to assist these clients in the execution of improvement projects across all levels of complexity from the tactical to enterprise level (serving as project lead, coach / mentor, and instructor) and to guide organizational leaders on the process of identifying and selecting meaningful activities to improve organizational performance.  Doug is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.  He lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two wonderful children. 

Doug is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.

 K. Owen Flodström – Director of Business Development and Talent Acquisition

K. Owen Flodström joined CoreSys Consulting as the Director for Business Development and Talent Acquisition in July 2016 bringing over 15 years of professional services experience.  Prior to joining CoreSys Consulting he served as Vice President and General Manager for international operations with L-3 Communications from 2001-2007 where he led a team of over 300 personnel and had P&L responsibility for a portfolio exceeding $140M in annual revenue.  Following his time with L-3 he served in multiple leadership positions, to include a successful five-year tenure with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services as a Client Executive and most recently as the Vice President of Operations for a small HUB Zone company.  Owen is a retired U. S. Marine serving over 22 years in multiple leadership roles. He is an acquisition and program management professional, and was responsible for the successful management and delivery of an ACAT IC tactical radio program.

 Mark Webb, PMP –  Director of Federal Programs

Mark P. Webb joined CoreSys Consulting as Program Director in February 2017.  Mark is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has nine years of project and program management experience including positions supporting US Special Operations Command Program Executive Office – C4 as the Military Information Support Operations Sustainment Program Manager with Lockheed Martin and with Leidos as the Program Manager for the US Army Human Resources Command’s interactive Personnel Electronic Records Management System (iPERMS).  Mark is a retired U. S. Army Signal Officer, having served 21 years in a variety of tactical, operational and strategic positions.

 Andrew Damon –  Director of Strategic Initiatives

Andrew Damon joined CoreSys Consulting as the Director of Strategic Initiatives on August 1, 2016. Andrew brings over seven years of combined experience as a business professional in the financial services industry and as an engineering researcher. Prior to joining CoreSys, Andrew worked for Accenture as a management consultant on medium and large-scale change projects at U.S. banks. His experience included project management, change management, process design and improvement, data analysis, reporting, and quality measurement. 

Andrew began his career at the University of Virginia where he conducted biomechanics research with military and automotive applications. He oversaw projects from cradle to grave, including test design and execution, analysis of data, and creation of final reports.  His findings were published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.
